Show Me wolves released their second full length album on January 16th, 2016. The album tells a tale of a young man plagued by the death of his family, alternate dimensions, betrayal and of superior beings. Reviews from critics can be read below:
"All of the instruments are played by one man as are the vocals, and each instrument is on point and sharp and the vocal delivery is powerful and bleak. Every detail that is put into this album works very well with each other. The World They Took Over is an interesting listen and one that may take a little bit to let sink in, but it is also one that when given a shot, you yourself will find your gems."

"Show Me Wolves creates an album that takes a progressive style of black metal and mixes in elements of post, death metal and metalcore along with a touch of the modern atmospheric sound to create a very original sounding recording, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover nature and real life themes. In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Show Me Wolves and if you are a fan of progressive black metal, you should check out this album."

"Hörður Ludviksson returns with a sound that at times is almost overwhelming and where heavy and brutal riffs seem to me as a representative element of sound. Torn and raw vocals are still present, production has increased and allows you to enjoy a much more mature and complete album where the inclusion of some keyboard arrangements allows you to breathe into a gloomy atmosphere"
